Well, we did it.
And we did it together.
There were 1,000 of us in the room on Saturday at the YLYT Event.
The feedback from a couple of the speakers who flew in was fascinating.
They were blown away by the types of questions and genuine interest from everyone.
One of them mentioned he had spoken at many conferences and had never seen people so engaged.
How cool is it that there’s a bunch of us trying to figure out how to live life on our own terms?
And we’re doing it all together. Amazing stuff.
Over the years we’ve discussed the easiest way to create personal freedom is to ride the big trends.
And right now there are 4 big ones to be aware of:
1. Debasement.
All the governments around the world will continue to debase their currencies. Canada is doing it at approx. 8% per year.
So after you pay all your income taxes, the money that is left for you is then devalued at 8% a year.
That’s your absolute minimum hurdle rate to “get ahead” financially.
2. Compute.
Artificial Intelligence is creating an insatiable demand for “tokens” and AI tokens require computing horsepower.
So literally anything with a microchip in it is going to be in demand.
Apple's Mac minis have been flying off the shelves in the last few months because of a simple open source autonomous agent platform that was released in January.
If you have a way to ride this trend … DO IT.
3. Energy.
The power needed to drive all the AI demand is only increasing. Oil, nuclear, natural gas, battery…all of it is going to continue to be in high demand.
Prepare for the “upper class” being the ones who have first access to energy as demand puts pressure on existing supply.
4. Artificial Intelligence.
The massive trend. AI will make the Industrial Revolution look like child’s play.
The amount of disruption coming our way is massive and it’s already starting.
We personally know several businesses NOT hiring because of AI.
Play, use, and learn about any and all AI platforms. Use ChatGPT to build things, use Claude to build a website, use Gemini to rework your research reports, set up agents to work on your behalf while you’re sleeping.
Check out the vibe coding platforms like VibeCodeApp.com and create an app for yourself using simple English.
The Industrial Revolution replaced muscle.
The AI Revolution is replacing intelligence.
Brace for incoming Universal Basic Income from governments using it to appease their voting bases and the debasement that this will accelerate.
Here’s how we’re playing this…
Incomes are not going to cut it.
You need assets.
When the “fiat dollars” become even more abundant, then scarce assets will go up in dollar price.
Ride that trend.
Good assets to own (in our opinion) are: Gold, Bitcoin, and cash-flowing rental property. If you must create income not connected to an asset, then it’s your own side-hustle business.
Riding trends is the easiest path to financial freedom.
And most people miss the big trends, unfortunately.
But not you!
