This week, we held a Rock Star Open House for Platinum members.
On a day like this we pull back the curtain and show how Rock Star works "behind the scenes".
The Platinum group are business owners who get together throughout the year to mastermind together and work on both their lives and their businesses.
We're blessed and grateful to be able to host such an incredible group.
Nigel, Keith, Noha, and Aidan on the team all presented and helped organize the day.
And that's Aidan at the front sharing some marketing tactics, strategies and principles that we use.
One of the biggest secrets to our own personal business successes is that we were taught to focus on "business and marketing principles" and not to chase "tactics".
This means you do things that create authority and trust in your business instead of focusing on the perfect Instagram post.
Most business owners focus on a simple Instagram post, or crafting the perfect email blast but do not have a coherent strategy built on principles that offers extreme leverage in business building.
And what we have found after working with thousands of people over the years is this...
In their lives, they do the exact same thing...they focus on tactics instead of principles.
For example, they buy a rental because a buddy did, start a diet in January, download a meditation app, get a will after a scare.
Every one of these things is a real step, but they're disconnected tactics with no strategy organizing them and no principles deciding which one matters most.
This is like building a life on a foundation of sand instead of granite.
We've found that people will admit they have no marketing strategy long before they'll admit "I have no life strategy"...but it's usually both.

Principles rarely change and govern everything.
Tactics change constantly and each one barely matters...but people pour their energy into tactics and almost none into principles.
