Well happy snow day, everyone!
The forecasts weren't wrong this time! We got dumped on good!
That's Nick in his shorts clearing out the snow with such force that his neighbours were worried for him and sent this picture to his wife.
I'm sure he was using the shoveling as one of his daily workouts...and he's probably listening to a podcast and doesn't want to be disturbed.
So he's in his happy place right there.
Being left alone to work out and enjoy a good podcast.

OK, look...
Nick and I are Gen Xers...and for our generation literally all the advice that we were given on money and creating personal freedom was 100% wrong.
Yes, all of it.
Or the absolute lack of it.
I managed to get through high school with top marks and finish with a university degree from the University of Toronto without getting any "real world" advice on money at all.
Like, zero.
Not a little bit of advice, actually ZERO.
We both fell into the unspoken trap of "go to school and get good job".
We quickly realized that wasn't a path to freedom.
Then we got introduced to the idea of mutual funds and a "diversified portfolio".
And we quickly realized that the only people winning with that were the ones collecting the fees.
That began a deep dive on real estate investing, smart debt, decent leverage, cash flow, sound money, and asset ownership.
It also started our journey into business building, marketing, sales, copywriting, email follow-ups, and database management.
These things changed our lives.
We suddenly felt we could take control of our lives and live as sovereign individuals.
Now we're peeling back the curtain on all of these subjects and sharing as much as we possibly can.
We're going to take everything we can share about real estate investing, hard money (aka, Bitcoin), and business building and smash it all together in the most jam packed YLYT Event we've ever held.
