There was a feast on Saturday.
We grilled up a bunch of steak, and one of my son's friends brought over some Croatian beer. I'm not normally a beer drinker, but on a sunny Saturday with the World Cup vibes flowing, it's hard to turn it down.
So I enjoyed myself a little authentic Croatian beer, hoping it would somehow translate to helping the Croatian World Cup team, LOL!
And it didn't seem to work. England beat us yesterday, but the tournament is far from over.
Heck, even our Scottish side is having some fun. They won their game, and the Tartan Army is apparently drinking all of Boston completely dry!
Good times.
Now onto serious matters... the immediate future.
One of our favourite analysts, authors, and technologists right now is Emad Mostaque.
He wrote a well-thought-out book called The Last Economy.
In it, he describes a world where intelligence becomes abundant, human labor loses scarcity value, GDP becomes a fairly useless economic guide, and the winning societies are the ones that preserve agency, resilience, and non-financial forms of capital.
Now, it would be too easy to dismiss this as "hyperbole" or something that will take years to materialize.
But our research suggests otherwise.
We have close friends in software and robotics who are ringing the alarm bells behind the scenes.
They do not believe we are ready for thousands of humanoid robots to enter the workforce in the next 36 months with the intelligence of multi-subject expert PhDs.
We still have parents teaching their kids to "become an accountant" or "get into law" or "engineering is always in demand."
Unfortunately, these long-held beliefs are now dead.
Yes, these services will be required. But no one today is going to make a lifelong career out of them. Not as these professions are done today, anyway.
Emad's book frames this as a rapid phase transition, with a "thousand-day window," a shift from land to labor to capital to intelligence... a future that can also quite easily tip toward digital feudalism.
He also proposes a broader civilizational dashboard — Material, Intelligence, Network, and Diversity capital — instead of relying on GDP alone.
Listen, when we started Rock Star, the biggest trend we saw was an increasing demand for single-family homes fueled by cheap money.
And by riding this trend, we could build up our financial freedom. And yes, financial freedom is still the first step to living life on your terms. But it's no longer enough.
These changes are much too strong and happening much too quickly. To really be able to achieve freedom going forward, you're going to need a combination of:
Financial Freedom
Time Freedom
Geographic Freedom
Health Freedom
Family/Relationship Freedom
Career Freedom
Network Freedom
Legal/Structural Freedom
Mindset Freedom
Personal Freedom
Each of these will be essential over the next 5, 10, and 15 years if you truly want to have your independence.

If you don't want to live life on your own terms, this email is not for you. See ya — the unsubscribe button is below.
But if you want to navigate the next few years with the most optionality in your life, then you found the right place.
The days of get a career, invest a little bit in an index fund, and maybe buy some insurance as a path to freedom... those days are over.
Most people just don't know it yet. Humans have a difficult time spotting new trends that go against their historic beliefs.
Don't believe me?
Remember the story of the Titanic? The unsinkable ship?
When it hit the iceberg and the crew started sounding the alarms, guess how many people got on the first set of lifeboats?
The first bunch left half full. (Google it.)
Why? Because the people on board couldn't believe that the big ship could sink.
When Emad shares his views on the economy, you get the same reaction from people.
The old economic system is so ingrained in people's beliefs that they don't think there's an imminent threat to the way things "have always been."
Which is fine, that's humanity for you.
But it's not us, and we hope it's not you.
So if we begin with Financial Freedom, here's what you need to consider:
Do you have a monthly cash flow that supports your desired lifestyle?
Are you dependent on one income source?
Do you own good quality assets, not just an income stream?
(Quick aside: For this one, if you have not attended our in-person Real Estate class yet, go here right now to sign up for the next one: https://get.rockstarinnercircle.com/ft-ezine/)
Do you have liquidity if conditions in your life require it?
Are you prepared for large macro shifts, inflation, and taxes?
If you score each of the 5 above like this...
No = 0 points
Partly = 1 point
Yes = 2 points
What is your score out of 10?

That's it for this week!
Enjoy the World Cup, everyone!
