Yesterday, we held one of our Rock Star Platinum meetings.
These are for business owners looking to connect with other entrepreneurs.
The idea is everyone gets a turn on the "hot seat" where you share some successes that we can all learn from.
Then you share the challenges you're working on and we all mastermind and brainstorm on them together.
This is powerful because you get views from people outside of your business niche offering brand new, and often "out of the box", thinking.
These groups are comprised of business owners of all types.
We've had dentists, physios, estate planners, Amazon businesses, software companies, dry cleaners, gym owners, U.S. shopping mall investors, music school owners, etc.
And that's what makes these so powerful...getting a mix of business backgrounds and experience together always leads to some good discussions.
Inevitably, these turn into personal and family life discussions as well.
And truth be told, sometimes the advice is more of a "kick in the rear end" than anything else.
Often, we know what needs to be done in life but we're scared to take the next step.
You just need someone who has gone before you to assure you that things are gonna be OK.
The mental game of business is a massively underrated part of your personal success.
So with that in mind let's share some of the "Rock Star Mindset" principles that have served us so well over the years.
These are things we've picked up from our own mentors. Many were gathered from the great Dan S. Kennedy. A personal hero and business mentor to us.
We probably have 500+ of these but here's a small sample that you may find useful:
Work on Both Your "Now Income" & Your "Future Income" Every Day
Always work on making money in your business today but every day you must also do at least one thing that will earn you business in the future.
These two ideas are to be worked on simultaneously, not independently.
Entrepreneurs who have no sales today were the ones who solely focused on "now income" yesterday.
Constantly Work on Your Self-Image
Value yourself.
It's difficult to ask for money when you don't hold a strong, positive self-image.
Do Original Research
Most people accept and believe what they are told.
Told by their industry, peers, associations, etc, that don't know what they're talk about.
"Accepted norms" are an entrepreneur's mortal enemy and your opportunity.
Most people hold inaccurate assumptions about life, family, business and money.
Create Your Own "Competition Free" Zone
Never allow yourself or your business to be compared to another easily or directly.
For example, is Rock Star a brokerage or an education company?
Opinions hold no value. Facts matter.
Your intuition can be valuable but it's even better when you mix in marketing, customer and financial data.
Money is Attracted to Speed
More implementation, less invention.
Test your idea. Gather data. Repeat.
Watch what works in an unrelated industry and apply it to yours.
Searching for the Perfect Scenario is Limiting
Never look for perfect people.
Never look for the perfect place.
Never wait for the perfect time.
THEY DO NOT EXIST.
Build systems that work with regular people.
Your Competition Will Use Tactics. You Use Principles.
Principles act as governance.
Strategies make those principles actionable.
Tactics achieve the implementation.
If you don't know the principles of business building you have more research in front of you.
Get busy.
Power of Billion Dollar Thinking
Finances mostly reflect thinking.
There's no doubt that people who make large amounts of money and people who amass fortunes think differently - about just about everything - than the majority of people.
Immunity to Criticism & Self-Doubt
Observations of highly successful (and happy) people in many endeavours is that they are able to easily shrug off criticism, like "water off a duck's back".
Determine Your Number One Asset
Identify your strengths and focus on putting those to work for you.
Putting yourself in a position where your weaknesses are important to success will hinder you.
The Ability to Ask For Help
Weak people are afraid to ask for help because they feel it reveals their weaknesses.
Strong people ask for help because they're more interested in the results than in safe-guarding their fragile ego.
And we have many, many, MANY, more of these.
Sometimes going through these old notes just helps us smash through any obstacles we may be facing.
And often, when working with entrepreneurs in the Rock Star Platinum group, their next success is just one thought away.
A simple change in how they perceived a situation is enough to unlock greatness.
There are probably two or three conversations in our lives that we can attribute 80% of Rock Star's success to.
I'll never forget how a simple comment by a business owner at a mastermind meeting lifted the weight of the world off of us and allowed us to double down aggressively on what we were building.
This is why we're so pumped that the Platinum group exists.
Entrepreneurship is a lonely, lonely endeavour.
No one ever tells you that.
So to get together with other business builders to share successes, work on challenges, laugh together, and sometimes even cry...is meaningful (and powerful).
If you think this is something you want to be part of in 2026, we're accepting applications right now.
The Platinum 2026 group is already half full.
And when it's full, it's full. We can't "add on" a few extra seats. The group size is limited on purpose.
We need a small group to ensure everyone gets enough time to share.
We ask for applications because this group isn't for everyone.
And we are also looking for the right mix of open-minded, action-oriented entrepreneurs who are willing to share.
You can check out all the details and grab an application right here:

Remember, once the group is full it's full until 2027.
If this is the year you'd like to join something like this then today is your day.
We're accepting applications right now.
We have a great mix of people coming together already...would you like to join in the fun?
You can see what it's all about right here:

And remember, business building, real estate investing success, your personal finances and level of happiness is a combination of understanding business principles and working on your mindset.
When you mix the two together...the world is your oyster.
Enjoy your week, everyone!!
