Nick has been going to the gym regularly since he was about 20 years old. He told me about all the physical and mental benefits of exercise but I always found excuses not to go. Busy career, then a young family and buying properties, then starting a business … there was never enough time. Today I realize that was a mistake. Physical exercise should have been much higher on my priority list. Not only for the physical and mental benefits but also for the confidence that spills over into other areas of life when you achieve new things at the gym.
